Senior Organizer

Zara is an advocate and organizer residing in Southern California. From mobilizing Muslim student communities to providing on-campus relief and support, Zara is passionate about creating spaces where Muslims feel empowered, heard, and cared for. She has worked with Manara West, MPower Change, and other grassroots organizations dedicated to uplifting the Muslim community, cultivating leadership, and advancing justice. Zara earned her Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with an emphasis in Public Policy at UC San Diego and previously served as a Changemaker Fellow with MPower Change before stepping into her current role as a Senior Organizer.
