No Surveillance September is a coalition led campaign to educate our community on the ways in which state sanctioned surveillance appears and harms our communities. Surveillance programs impact us through a wide range of issues- from anti-Blackness and the prison industrial complex, mental health services, school and university campuses, to gender and Islamophobia. This month, we aim to uplift programming to raise awareness, build our collective power, and channel that into collective and organized action.
Rescheduled: TBD
CVE, Anti-Blackness & Islamophobia
This webinar will explore the relationship between anti-Blackness and Islamophobia in the United States and the specific impact this intersection creates. We will learn from different organizers in key cities across the US about how anti-Black racism and policing practices work with CVE to expand the types of violence Black communities experience at the hands of the US government.
